in Minneapolis in September of 2006. I work in the Sales Division at
General Mills and have relocated 4 times over the past 4 years. That
amounts to yes, four realtors! Michelle was recommended to me by a
friend who had also recently relocated back to Minneapolis with General
Mills. From the first time I called Michelle, I was immediately
impressed. She's a busy gal, but made time to spend an entire long
weekend showing me houses. In a few words, she is amazing. I've worked
with some good realtors, maybe even some great ones. Michelle blows
them out of the water. She is by FAR the best realtor I've ever been in
contact with. She is personable, but also extremely professional. She
listened, and only showed me houses she knew I could afford, and would
be interested in. Relocating is a hectic process, but Michelle took
care of EVERYTHING. Michelle understands the General Mills process
better than our relocation department. I was so impressed. No other
realtor has taken care of me the way Michelle has. I have since
recommended Michelle to another friend, who would agree that she is the
best of the best.

Dear Prospective Client,
I am writing to give the highest recommendation for my home buying experience with Michelle Osterhus and Stephanie Chan (The Power of W). I recently relocated back to MN with my job at General Mills and had the daunting task of finding a home that I would enjoy and pay a fair price for. I was referred to Michelle and Stephanie through a colleague of mine. After working with them, I found the home buying process to not only be quite seamless, but fun as well.
I found Michelle and Stephanie to bring extensive knowledge of real estate to the table when I interacted with them. No matter the quality of the home we were previewing, they would be fair in assessing the positives and negatives of that particular home. They also listened both verbally and non verbally to my interests and concerns as we went through the process. I always felt that they were trying to get me in the best home for me and not just trying to sell a house.
Once we found the perfect home, I was even more impressed with their communication through the negotiation process. They were very firm with negotiating my wants to the seller, but they were also very fair. Every step of the way they would make sure to touch base with me before making any decisions. Going through a relocation process can be quite stressful and the entire time I felt like they had my back.
Purchasing a home is a business transaction and Michelle and Stephanie were very professional. However, it is also a very human and emotional part of a person’s life and Michelle and Stephanie were incredibly personable and caring towards not only me, but my family. They were so gracious they even made time in their busy schedules to take me out shopping to get a big screen TV for my home.
In closing, I would definitely work with Michelle and Stephanie again and I would refer any friend/family member or colleague interested in selling or buying a home to utilize their services. I found them to be very knowledgeable, firm negotiators and impeccable communicators.
